I have made one or two blogs with blogger before. My memory isn't very good, but I thought Blogger automatically created an RSS feed for each blog. Whatever the truth is, I remember in the past that people 'burned' their feeds with
feedburner (now owned by Google). By setting up feedburner, I also found a Google Profile setting I otherwise didn't know existed...
Feedburner is relatively straight forward. It takes you through what to do. What I don't understand, and perhaps don't care about right now, is what analytics and options it offers.
Google has a
support page that tells how to add a feedburner RSS widget to your Blogger site.
You can view my feedburner feed in your browser at
http://feeds.feedburner.com/narfisilblogspot or add it to your news aggregator (I love feedly).
Part 2: Google Profile - Connected Accounts

One oddball thing I found is the ability to link a Twitter account to your Google profile. I found this through feedburner. On a settings page, go to the Publicize tab. Under services, select Socalize, and to the right, you can select to "Add a Twitter Account" or "Manage Connections". When you select "Manage Connections" you are directed to
https://profiles.google.com/connectedaccounts, where you can link other social networking tools like Twitter and Facebook to your Google profile... This Connected Accounts tool says:
Connecting your accounts puts you in control:
- When you search, you can see relevant content your friends share on the web.
- You make it easier for them to find the stuff you share on the web.
- You can choose which accounts to show on your public Google Profile.
- It's easier to find your friends, and for them to find you. Learn more
I was unable to find this page through my Google+ settings, perhaps for lack of trying seeing as how I don't like Google+... I also just tried a Google search for "connected accounts" and I didn't find this page either.
