The FPS We (or at least I) Have been Waiting For

Jump to 0:46

When I was younger, I shied away from video game violence. Naive though I was, I couldn't pass up Star Wars Battlefront in 2004 on the PS2, and the squeal in 2005. That graduated me from Spyro the Dragon and Rachet and Clank into Call of Duty type FPS (First Person Shooter) style games. I'm still a little shy of gory games like Gears of War.

I jumped out of my seat when SWTOR (Star Wars the Old Republic) landed. I hoped it would be a new World of Warcraft like everyone else. And disappointed like everyone else, I am hoping that Battlefront 3 will be the Star Wars game we all need in our lives (sadface to the cancelled Star Wars 1313).

I also want to say that I loved the combat flight-sim Star Wars Rogue Squadron line since N64. I didn't get much of a chance to play Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike though.
