Add a Twitter Widget to Blogger

There's blogging, and there's micro-blogging. It would be nice to put the two together somehow... oh wait, there are widgets for that!

Blogger's widgets add-in tool under layout has some Twitter widgets, but they look sucky... Here's how to get a nice one on a Blogger blog.

1. On your Twitter account, go to the settings cog in the upper right > Settings
2. On the left, select the Widgets tab
3. Click Create New
4. You are presented with a bunch of settings to customize a Tweet box
5. When you're ready, click Create Widget
6. Copy the HTML code for the widget, on the lower left just under the preview
7. Go back to Blogger, and add a HTML/JavaScript widget or a Text widget to your layout
8. Fill in the HTML code and you're good to go!
